Countdown!!

Hey everyone! Welcome aboard my fantastic upcoming trip to the Olympics! It has been a great ride over the last few months getting ready and in fact I AM!!! This is a lifetime opportunity and one that has taken me over 25 yrs of announcing to get.....I am very honored and proud to be one of the announcers and will not only represent the Olympics but the good ole USA!! One does not get this kind of honor very often and I am ready for the task.

Last summer we got to go over and work the Test event and if you go to my previous blog (brian-hongkong.blogspot.com) you can read my reports from 2007. I am very happy to have you all with me for this year's Games and I hope I can make you smile, laugh, and keep you posted with my observations and thoughts. Nancy J and all of the other "real" reporters will keep you in the loop much better than me...but I promise to keep you informed too! Enjoy the ride....and remember, I will not be able to respond to all of you , so please do not ask me to send you anything personally! We can all chat when I get back. See you soon,
