ACK! We watched NBC's "compressed" coverage and I was fairly excited when it came to the jump off. I thought, "Well, after the gold and silver are decided, I'm sure they won't take the time to show all 7 tied for the bronze. But at least they'll announce it, and the US stands a good chance of getting the bronze, with so many in that 3rd spot." But nooooooo.....
They announced gold and silver in about 3 seconds and then flew off to some other sport......probably beach volleyball....LOL! I sat there wondering who got the bronze. They never even flashed it on the screen. At least YOU posted the info. I suppose I could have searched NBC's site, but I was peeved. I figure if the US gets a medal, it shouldn't be too much effort to say, "And the US takes the Bronze."
Erin likes hearing your voice behind the NBC "Here from our New York Studio" people. We watched the medal ceremony video and there you are! Thanks for the heads up on your location. Ian will have some great pics for show and tell.
Enjoyed your blog,
Debra
